Wednesday's Word - Diligent

I chose diligent:  having or showing care and conscientiousness in one's work or duties.

My advice today, in light of all of "this" is to be diligent!  Wake up and take your daily steps, one right after the other and keep busy, diligent in what it is you do.  Maybe you're not allowed to do your "work" do something.  Worry, idleness does no one any good - especially you.  Focus your energy on postitive things.  I know, easy to say, but hard to do.  It is, because we are human.  Worry, anxiety, depression love to take root in times like this.  Try hard not to let it.

Diligent - care - conscientiousness - in all we do, one step at a time.  We can NOT change any of this, we CAN change how we respond to it.  Be diligent for your parents, children, family, friends, neighbors and yourself!

"For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.  And we desire that everyone of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end; That ye be not slothful, but folowers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."  Hebrews 6:10-12.

Today, I think on my parents and their examples of diligence, it inspires me to want to do more.  Go forth today and do some good and be diligent in your efforts.

Blessings from Ringle, Wisconsin.
