This one was really simple. I had these boxes of fruit ornaments on the $1 table - $1 per box. No one bought them at the sale - so I thought I could make them prettier and maybe saleable. (is saleable a word?)
There they are on the end of the table...
I had these tiny jewelry marking tags and wrote on each one one of the "fruits of the spirit" and tied them on to the ornament. I then brushed them with mod podge and sprinkled with glass glitter. I wanted them to look like the sugar fruit at Christmas time.
These will now be $1 each and at the "Vintage and Homemade Christmas" Pop Up sale here at the farm.
The next time you go thrifting, look for older ornaments you can add new life to - bring them back to a tree for Christmas.

Cute!!

ReplyDeleteSorry that I haven't been on for a while - you've got some awesome stuff. Great projects in your past postings as well. I kinda like those pink trees you did, however; I have so much Christmas stuff that I need to go through myself.
