30 Days of Repurposed Projects - Day 8 - Pink Christmas Trees
If you just started following, I had a huge sale on our farm in the pole building. After the sale, I went through and found items I could repurpose and make them hopefully useful and sellable. This one is my favorite so far!
These ceramic trees were $0.50 and $1 each at my sale.
There they are on the tables...
I brought them in the house, washed them up and painted them pink. I don't know why I chose pink - but, I like it.
I did several coats of the pink on each. When it was dry, I dry brushed some ivory across the branches to look like snow.
The larger tree had holes where you would put those plastic bulbs. I had a broken pearl necklace, so I decided to glue the pearls over the holes. Use E6000.
Once all was dry, I brushed Mod Podge on the trees and sprinked with the glass glitter.
I also added a piece of felt to the bottom of each. These trees will be available at the "Handmade & Vintage Christmas" Pop Up sale here at the farm. I think the small one will be $12 and the larger one $20.
Blessings from Ringle, Wisconsin.
