The View as I Blog

My dog Minnie, loves the electric blanket (so do I).  As soon as she thinks I am going to sit down, she dances around waiting for the blanket - seriously.  She is a nut!  This is the view from my lap top - she sleeps between my legs.

In our defense, you all know it is cold up here right.  I don't need to post about the polar vortex - Wisconsin is a polar vortex!  However, our state is under a propane shortage.  We were lucky to call 3 weeks ago and have them deliver.  They would only sell us 300 gallons, now it is 100 gallon limit.  We paid $1.89/gal. -now it is over $5.  So, we lowered our thermostat to 62.  However, when you live in an old farm house - our inside temp yesterday was 59.5.  That is why we love the electric blanket!

Blessings from Ringle, Wisconsin.

  3. It has certainly been a cold winter! We keep our thermostat around 65 in the winter. We just dress in layers and I plug in a space heater if I really need to. Stay warm!

  4. That's unreal, Jacky! I don't know how people can survive without heat in that cold! I hope no one is having to do without it! Your dog is smart! Mine is outside in a little dog house with a heat lamp! He loves it! Prayers that this cold will end soon! Blessings from Bama!

  5. How can that dog get itself so tightly curled up? lol...The propane shortage is scarey!! We were lucky that the house we bought came with an already prepaid amount. Hopefully it holds out until spring. But with all of this polar vortex cold it will be tight! Stay warm friend!!
