More on "Martha, The Independent Hen"

We had some snow fall with more on the way.  I leave the back "hole" open for the chickens to decide if they want to come out or not.  I've been posting pictures of Martha, the independent hen.  The pillow, she and the cats have been fighting over, was frozen on the porch.  This morning, she was pacing and clucking, I felt sorry for her.  Al says, "your chicken, Margaret, is on the porch."  (Margaret...really, it's Martha)  So, I pulled the pillow out from the snow and laid it upon the bench.  Hurry up Martha and lay that egg, more snow is on the way!  

I LOVE her!
