Old Chicken Coop

Love, love this old chicken coop.  It hasn't seen a chicken in years -

I love searching old farmsteads and outbuildings (I always have permission).  You can see all the great ideas this old farm wife had; from the latch and drop front for gathering eggs, inexpensive roosting perch to the brackets above the windows.  I wish this one were on my property!

  4. Great photos, those chickens would have had a pretty flash home in their day.

  5. Many a chicken has enjoyed that as their home. I saw those around a lot growing up. I think they still use them in certain states.
