Vintage Christmas Sale

I have been busy setting up trees, marking items and making Christmas folk art for my two booths.  When I had my shop open on the farm, I met many wonderful customers.  I know what they like and on occasion, I will set up a “private sale” for just for them.  This gives them a chance to “pick” first and buy before I stock my booths or go to a show.

So, I am showing you what I did.  Fortunately, this past year, as I dug in a box of stuff I put all the Christmas items in pile – so I could find it later.

I started out with the –bones- you might say.  I carried in a table, all the extras I wanted for the display and the boxes and tubs of items for sale.

I did this right in my entry….kinda tight – but it worked.

I had an idea in my head of how I wanted it to look, I put the display items in place first and moved it around till I liked it.  My regular furniture helped with the backdrop and display.

Once that was done, I could do the fun part and decorate.

I bought this neat old primitive cranberry scoop this past summer at a little auction “in town” – I’ve always wanted one, but they seem to go too high – not this one.  I am using it for my decorations when I host Thanksgiving here.

When she came in the house, she said “are you all ready for Christmas?”  I said “No, I did all of this for you…”  I think she liked it.  Well, I enjoyed the company, conversation and sales. Smile

I will have some of these items on Ebay next week.  I hope to list Monday and Tuesday.  So, if you want, check it out.  I have a link at the top that goes to my seller page.
