4-H Fun Run (Walk)

This is the 3rd year that Marathon County 4-H has hosted a fun run/walk during the fair.  It is a 2 mile race winding around Marathon Park.  For the past 2 years, I have watched as other 4-H leaders and families had fun doing this.  Last year I told myself that next year I was going to do this - even if I only walked.  So, I challenged to our 4-H club join in.  Here is a picture of members (parents and alum too) of Popplewood 4-H.

Most of them received top 5 in their age groups.  It was a fun morning.  I walked and "trotted...."

It was fun.  Sometimes, I even surprise myself, when I make me do things I really "can't" or don't want to do.  Challenge yourself, it feels good!  So, put on those "tennies" and start a walkin...

Blessings from Ringle, Wisconsin.
