International Harvester 1957 Golden Jubilee Truck

We have an oldie, but goodie in my rock garden.  An International Harvester 1957 truck.  This happens to be the 50th anniversary of production - so they call it Golden Jubilee.  This truck is not painted gold like some produced that year, however, it does have the IH Golden Jubliee hood ornament.  We didn't know this when we bought it at an auction many years ago.  I just wanted something in my yard for art - the price was right - as in cheap - so we bought it.  We rented a trailer and moved it to our farm.  It looked neat with snow covering it, so I took some pictures.

Blessings from Ringle, Wisconsin.

  1. Neat! I'd love to see it in the Spring surrounded by flowers. And if you ever need more $$ to fund your farm, you could start parting it out. I'm sure there are collectors out there who'd love the dash knobs and emblems.

  3. Love it! In my yard it would just look like an old truck sitting out there, but you have the talent and the flare to make it look wonderful, Dicky Bird!
