“God finds a low branch for the bird that cannot fly”  Turkish Proverb

“A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song”  Maya Angelou

“Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark”  Rabindranath Tagore

Winter in Wisconsin can be harsh – to say the least.  I always feed the birds and other visitors that come to my small bird feeder.  I love working in my kitchen and watching all the activity in the feeder.   Just a few minutes ago, there was a small doe under the feeder.  It was too dark to get a picture.

Blessings from Wisconsin.

  1. i have this exact same feeder! although mine is a bit worse for wear! it was on a pole for the first few years we were there, then two playing dogs rammed into the pole and bent it; then a very greedy horse pulled it down from the pole altogether. now it just hangs from a tree with the block still attached beneath it. :)
