Cookies Week 6–Jello Cookies

JELLO Cookies

1 3 oz. pkg. of fruit flavored Jello

1 C powder sugar

1 C butter

2 1/4 C flour

1/4 tsp. salt

Reserve 1 Tbsp. Jello.  Mix dry Jello, powder sugar together, cream with butter, add flour and salt.  Mixture will be rather dry, I added enough warm water to form into dough.  Roll into 1 inch balls, place on a lightly sprayed pan.  Bake 350 for 8 – 10 min.  Makes 4 doz.    When completely cooled, frost with glaze:  mix 1 Tbsp. Jello with 3 Tbsp. hot water; let stand for 5 min.  Stir in 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla.
