Week 16 - Jam Bars

Week 16 - Jam Bars

2 C flour                                             2 C oatmeal
1 C brown sugar                                 1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt                                              2 sticks soft butter
zest and juice of 1 lemon

Put all of this into a bowl.  Cut together with pastry blender.

After well blended, butter/spray 9 x 13 pan, press 3/4 of the mix into pan to form the bottom crust.  Spread 2 C of your favorite jam over the top, spread evenly.

Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top.  Bake 350 till brown on sides and top.  (I didn't keep track - 25 min?)

Cut into squares and enjoy!
