Al and I bought each other the Nespresso for Christmas. Can I say, wow, the coffee - I'm hooked! In a few posts back, I showed you my "Vintage Kitchen Find" read it here: https://dickybirdsnest.blogspot.com/2018/12/new-vintage-find-for-my-kitchen.html I had no idea when I bought this from our farm pick, that I would use it in this way. Instead of bread one normally keeps in this type of thing, I have a supply of teas and coffee items.
Al doesn't like that he has to walk "all the way across the room" to get coffee. In all honesty, he is the one who makes it, but he also drinks more than I do. I do, however, like the extra counter space I have acquired since moving this.
So, today as I enjoy my espresso with steamed milk...(hearts..love...hearts)....I am tickled to look over at this little coffee cart. I wanted to use a vintage cart on wheels, but I didn't have one in my inventory. We bought this from Bed, Bath & Beyond for under $100. It has a butcher block, on wheels and folds up. It's not old, but I still like it!
Now, I'm ready to start my day. Enjoy yours!

I bought this for us for Valentine’s Day last year! We love our Nespresso!
ReplyDeleteThat's great. We love it too!
DeleteWhat a sweet little coffee nook!!! Hmmm...Nespresso, eh? My son gave me a Gourmia he didn’t use, and I treat myself to a macchiato or cappuccino every now and again (it uses the Nespresso pods).... When it works, I love it...but more often than not, the frother/steamer doesn’t work right and the milk never comes out so I have to re-do it.... Plus, it is not very hot when it comes out (of course, I use milk straight out of the frig...) and I don’t like the wasting of milk...It never gets completely used and sours quickly when re-refrigerated. I might have to look into a replacement LOL...but I like that the Gourmia I have doesn’t take up much space on my counter. Well, enjoy! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteThe Nespresso is a bit pricy and so are the pods, but what I like about them is when you order their coffee they send a self-addressed envelope for you to return the pods - they recycle them. Also...so good it's hot and you only put as much milk as you will use in the separate steamer. I like it!
DeleteI like your coffee station, and the cart! Anything that makes more counter space is a win win for me!
ReplyDeleteAww, love your coffee station! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteHiya, I am really glad I have found this info.
