Here is a family favorite, made by Al's grandma Konkol and his mom.
Blueberry Buckle:
3/4 C sugar
1/4 C butter
Cream together add:
1 egg
1/2 c milk
Mix together; add sifted dry
2 C flour
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
Fold in:
2 C blueberries dusted with flour (so they won't sink)
Pour this batter into a prepared 9" square pan. Sprinkle on this topping:
1/2 C sugar
1/3 C flour
1/4 C soft butter
1 t. cinnamon
grated lemon or orange rind
Mix together and sprinkle on top. Bake 375 for 35 min.
Yummy!!!
