I've known Joi for a couple of years now. When we did the Up, Up & Away Pop Up at her house, I was introduced to her husband Randy. While in their home, I noticed a picture of Randy that made me wonder....was he some kind of a professional ball player? I don't know why, but I did...I never asked...because, if one was married to an X professional major league player, you would definitely let people know.
Joi and my niece Jessi have been helping me set up a living estate sale I'm doing for a family friend this Friday. While at lunch, I asked "what did Randy do?" "Well," Joi says "he was a professional baseball player." "I knew it!" I said.
So, yesterday, Randy gave me one of his autographed baseball cards, COOL. He played in California.
He still holds a record and is interviewed almost every spring training. Here is a link to his stats: http://www.baseball-almanac.com/players/player.php?p=elliora01
Thanks for the card Randy.
Blessings from Ringle, Wisconsin.
